Kool-Aid Dip Dye!

Last year, one of my friends,  my sisters and I, dip dyed (not dyed there is a difference) our hair with Kool – Aid.  It actually worked!  So I thought I would share how.
WARNING:  This stuff stays in your hair.  There are methods to get it out though, most use backing soda.  I’ll leave that for you to google to your hearts content.
You will need:
◇ 2 Cups of water
◇ 2- 3 Packs of sugar-free Kool-Aid
To do that though you must pick a colour… or flavour. I used this chart to pick my colour.

Note: For a more sheer look use less water or keep your hair in for less time.  For a more vibrant look use more water and/or more Kool – Aid. Also be sure to keep your hair in for the suggested amount of time.

How to:
★ Pour the water and the Kool – Aid into a pot.  Put the pot on the stove and let boil.
★ Proceed by pouring the mixture into a bowl.
★ Section off the hair you want to dye.  Put the hair in the bowl for 4-10 minutes depending on how thick your hair is and what you want it to look like.
★ Pat hair dry with a paper towel or a towel you don’t mind getting stained.  Blow dry the hair.

Sadly, I don’t have any pictures but you are welcome to google it.
Happy Sunday!
